Toad Away
In the early 70’s, I sang along with Firesign Theater, “ Toad away, toad away, toad away, toad away. Where do you go when you’re towed away?”
It was an existential hymn. When you fund yourself in times of trouble, it’s no joke to be spiritually broke. There is always next week, with more panic and anxiety and lines to form upon your brow. Lines form to the right. Lines form to the left. But don’t worry— there is botox and n the soft gooey centre.
Next week is looking like this week— except more. Next week is fully pumped. on steroids.

Remember the discomfort and anxiety that you are feeling is because you are out of your comfort zone. If you are feeling, you are not numb.
