The training wheels are still on. I’m still trying to figure out how to make this work, but the concept is Breathable Hours.
Beyond billable, past proselytizing, a little more to the left, now down, yes now you have it. I am starting a Substack, which I am calling THIS IS NOT MUSIC! with aim of advancing past the algorithms that stunt my growth.
What is Substack ? A platform where writers go to die? Hopefully.
Because all we are looking for here is more breathable hours, filling in the blanks, keeping the ticker ticking, and jumping over the low bars we have set for ourselves.
There are only so many hours in the day, and while many are billable, not all of them are breathable,. I am defining breathable as more than just filling our lungs with the old in/out.
Breathable should be better than the alternative. Breathable should not only be livable, but likeable. Being able to breathe is important for breathable hours, as disabled breathable hours can be minutes away, when breath goes from bad to “Boy, I wish I had done this, or that, even the other thing while I had a chance to do so. “
Regrets are useless when the breathable hours are gone. Tricks are for kids, but when the breathable become untenable you have gone down the last rabbit hole. Non-breathable hours are the epitome of punching down.
Anyway, all this was supposed to be in my first Substack, but stupid old man couldn’t figure out yet how to drive this new vehicle of expression, and a possible post was truncated to a twitter.
